My God, Your God

Well said. Sometimes, I worry this little blue and green orb of ours is running out of the love we all desperately need. I see it online and offline: hate. So much unnecessary hate. It either comes from zealots or from people who think we've got the world all figured out. I'm in high school and question if I should have kids in the future, because I don't want them to be living in the kind of unempathetic world I see on the news or in my classmates. I'm a naturally happy person, but my heart just DROPS when I see people call everyone but themselves sinners, or when people act as if everything that makes us human is pointless because it's "illogical." At this point I should note that research into quantum mechanics and the nature of consciousness seems to point out that we're more important in the universe than we give ourselves credit for. Of course, we're still destroying the ecosystem of an entire planet in said universe.

Basically humans choose to be crappy when we don't have to be, and that is why I'll always prefer a life and mindset where I'm walking with Jesus. A state of mind where I can picture myself staring at the moon (which has always been present at spiritual or beyond-coincidental events in my life), to marvel at God's handiwork, and to be aware of the absolute reality He has made, as well as the personal reality I am making with Him in my life.

I should be finishing up a test review right now, but this feels pretty refreshing. To anyone who reads this: 1. I hope you have a good day. 2. Always do your best to keep love in your mindset. 3. Know that you are important in this world. You live in a body no one else will ever have, have a brain and mind no one else will ever have, exist at specific points in space and time with these qualities that no one else ever will, and if you believe in some form of Higher Power, know that you and everyone around you is here for a reason. To the extent of each of our own abilities, let's be the heroes this world needs. Work the Good Will, and thanks for reading this rant! 🤗🌙
